On Sunday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann paid homage to the legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on his 117th birth anniversary. During the ceremony, he announced that a heritage complex located in the martyr's ancestral village will be dedicated to the state within a few months.
As part of the celebrations, Mann also hoisted a 100-foot tall national flag at the Bhagat Singh Museum.
The heritage complex, which is being constructed at a cost of ₹51.70 crores, serves as a heartfelt tribute to Bhagat Singh and aims to inspire future generations to serve the nation selflessly.
The complex will feature a grand entrance based on a specific theme, a 350-meter heritage walkway connecting the museum to Bhagat Singh's ancestral home, sculptures depicting the freedom struggle, and 2D/3D wall art. Additionally, it will include an auditorium with a seating capacity of 700.
